ACC Economic Development Foundation
The ACC Economic Development Foundation attracts and establishes new businesses that will create additional jobs and import capital investment to Clarke County, Georgia. The organization is devoted to new business development along with sharing and promoting the numerous economic assets of the area. The Foundation is managed by a full time staff and governed by a prominent board of directors representing government, business and education.

ACC Planning Department
Athens-Clarke County Planning Department manages community change in both the short and the long term with regard to land use, transportation, historic preservation and overall development so that a positive environment, that is productive and beneficial to all citizens of Athens-Clarke County, is obtained.

Athens Area Home Builders Association
The Athens Area Home Builders Association, is a not-for-profit trade association representing and uniting the building industry in Clarke, Oconee, Madison, and Oglethorpe counties. They create and promote a favorable climate for quality, affordable construction to assure a positive economic future for the communities they serve.

Athens Area Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management
The oldest chapter in the state of Georgia, the Athens Area Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management has over 50 human resource professionals representing business, government and education.

Athens Downtown Development Authority
The Athens Downtown Development Authority administers the revitalization and redevelopment of the Central Business District. Acting as a liaison between the Athens Clarke County Government and the Downtown Business community, the Authority coordinates planning and implementation of public facilities as well as assisting private investors and individual businesses.

Athens Area Chamber of Commerce
The Athens Area Chamber of Commerce serves its members by developing an environment conducive to business.

East Athens Development Corporation
East Athens Development Corporation facilitates the economic empowerment of East Athens’ residents and the economic revitalization of the East Athens community.

Northeast Georgia Employee Assistance Program
The Northeast Georgia Employee Assistance Program assists in the identification and resolution of personal or work related issues that may affect productivity and overall satisfaction in the work environment, as well as, the employee's personal well being.

Small Business Development Center
The Georgia Small Business Development Center Network is headquartered at the University of Georgia campus in Athens, and through partnerships with nine other universities and colleges in the state provides business consulting and continuing education opportunities to Georgia’s entrepreneurs.
